How it works

  1. 01Write a native postA headline, a line or two, an optional photo and a button. It appears between posts in the local feed and between people in Nearby, labeled Sponsored.
  2. 02Choose who and wherePick a city and radius. Optionally choose what people are looking for (gym partners, gaming, travel…) and describe your crowd with a short vibe quiz.
  3. 03Set a bid and budgetPay per 1,000 viewable impressions or per click. You set a daily budget and only pay for what's delivered, from a prepaid balance.
  4. 04Automated review, then liveTwo independent AI reviewers check your copy, image and landing page in seconds. Add funds and verify your website once, and approved ads go live right away. Disagree with a decision? Appeal to a person.

Simple, auction-based pricing

Each sponsored slot runs a second-price auction weighted by relevance: you never pay more than your bid, usually less, and a well-matched ad can win against a higher bid. No minimum contract.

Privacy built in

  • Targeting happens inside Heyborly. You never receive member names, IDs, locations or quiz answers.
  • Reports are aggregate only. Reach is hidden until at least 50 people have seen an ad.
  • Ads are matched by area by default. Interest and personality matching only applies to members who opt in.
  • Chats, reveals and friendships are never used for ads. Plus members see no ads.

What we accept

Fitness and sports, food and coffee, events and culture, travel, apps and software, education and careers, retail, wellness (no medical claims), nonprofits and community groups, local services, gaming.

Not accepted: dating or hookups, adult content, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis or drugs, gambling, crypto and get-rich schemes, payday loans, weapons, political ads, prescription drugs, weight-loss claims, or anything that targets people for their orientation or health. Full ad policy.
