Safety
You stay anonymous until you decide otherwise. Here are the tools that keep it that way.
Built-in protections
- Aliases by default. Your name and photo open only after you and the other person both choose to reveal.
- Approximate distance only. Exact location is never shared or stored.
- Choose who can find you: everyone nearby, only people you've chatted with, or nobody.
- Hide your profile again from anyone you revealed to, at any time.
- Block and report from any chat. Reports are reviewed by our safety team.
- Optional ID verification through Stripe Identity.
Meeting up
Meet in public places the first time, tell a friend where you're going, and arrange your own way home. Never send money to someone you've met here.
If you're in danger
Contact your local emergency services immediately. For LGBTQ+ support in the US, The Trevor Project (1-866-488-7386) and the LGBT National Hotline (1-888-843-4564) are available.
